To be clear in what I can and cannot offer to this family council in terms of expertise and experience
To identify other professionals when the need identified is outside of my capability
To refrain, resist and as necessary refuse to give this family answers that you seek and must find within the family
To respect the rights and needs of all members
To always be honest
